PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Welcome back to a new year of bonsai! This year looks to be full of events, seminars, and workshops all throughout the year.<\/p>\n

January starts us out with a fantastic three part\u00a0series of demonstrations by Michael Roberts and his \u201cProcess\u201d of developing bonsai. We need to give a big Thank You to Ed and Linda Clark of Round Valley Nursery who donated the demonstration trees for Michael\u2019s demonstrations.\u00a0This is a total of 3 very nice trees which will be raffled off after each event in the process. Thank you Ed and Linda.<\/p>\n

We have some great bonsai artists coming to California through the California Bonsai Society’s Visiting Artist Program.\u00a0February will feature Malia Chiem out of the New England area. May is a tough month to get demonstrators with all the events happening in Japan and Europe.\u00a0July will feature Mike Lane from Florida and November brings Hugo Zamora Luna from Mexico City.<\/p>\n

Guest artist Yannick Kiggen will be back in June and maybe another guest artist from Europe for the month of October. We will have workshops with all the guest artists so stay tuned for the flyers.<\/p>\n
