PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

Summer in the Los Angeles basin is finally here, scorching temperatures and hot winds are the norm for now.   Keep those trees cool and watch out for excessive sun scorch and leaf burn, shade cloth for those hotter locations will be a must have.

This month we have the CBS Visiting Artist Mike Lane, Mike is from Florida and has an extensive knowledge of tropicals and all things Shohin.

Dai Ichi will again be helping with the Gardena JCI Tanoshii Fun Camp, we will provide a bonsai related workshop for about 30-kids and their councellors.  This year we will focus on kusumono, if your interested in helping and/or teaching let me know.  The workshop will be August 4^th 9:00 to 10:30.
