PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
Normally this will be the last meeting of the year, but we will be having a holiday party this year! Please talk with Mary and get the details of the end-of-year Bonsai Bingo Holiday Party.
I’m starting the process of putting the program for next year together, what topics to choose, who should we ask, who can we get? Its always a fun time getting a list together and trying to put together a comprehensive program for next year. If you have any suggestions or would like a certain topic covered please stop me, call me, or text me with any requests.
Daniel Martinez presented a topic everyone needs to work at and most bonsai enthusiasts neglect “wiring”. Whether its time, lack of wire or material or just not wanting to do the work, wiring can only be improved by practice and patience. Any craft takes dedication and the mindset or trying to improve your skills. Thank you to Danny and his wife Christy for making the long trip from Oxnard to be our club demonstrator.
This October we had our club election, we have a few additions and everybody currently donating their time to the club has responded with a happy bonsai YES to another year.

Our November demonstrator will be California Bonsai Society’s Visiting Artist, Caroline (Caz) Scott. Once again Caz will be entertaining us with stories from afar as well as tips, tidbits and a wealth of knowledge from across the globe. Her demonstrations are entertaining and are not to be missed.
